TREND MLS released market reports for their service area this week with data from the last quarter of 2011. Burlington County, NJ saw a slight, continued decline in the median home sales price from the third quarter of 2011 and an overall decline in of 4.9% from the fourth quarter of 2010. There were pockets of improvement in the county on a local level with increases in median sales prices noted in eight municipalities, for example: Columbus (+19.5%); Hainesport (+17.5%), and Willingboro Twp (+25.7%).
Inventory levels continue to decline (by 11.7% over Q4 2010), which is likely good news for homeowners thinking of putting their homes on the market – with a competitively priced, professionally marketed home standing out among the waning competition.
